 minimise fatigue_risk

Maximising Operational Efficiency and Increasing Productivity in Safe Working Environments

Based on research, scientists have equated fatigue to blood-alcohol levels which indicate that if a person has been awake for 18 hours, it's the equivalent of having a 0.5 level of alcohol in their body. Therefore, shiftwork and fatigue have serious implications which need immediate attention of management in order to increase profitability, safety, productivity and employee health.

In 2012 ComOps will again take part in this annual Marcus Evans Event that addresses the top pressing concerns effecting operational performance.

Key Benefits & Learning Outcomes will include:

  • Understanding and managing the effect of shiftwork and its impact on fatigue and health to prevent human errors and accidents
  • Increasing productivity by developing Fit for Work culture
  • Identifying and managing potential fatigue risks effectively
  • Maximising operational performance by designing flexible and people friendly roster
  • Implementing fatigue management strategies to predict and prevent fatigue risks
